Welcome to second grade! To help be prepared for second grade please look for the following items.
* One soft-sided zippered pencil case
* One dozen #2 pencils (sharpened please)
* Erasers
* Two glue sticks: to start with.... you will need more :)
* Four pocket folders labeled: yellow (Work In Progress), red (Math), green (Science), and blue (Social Studies)
* One homework folder- your choice
* A good pair of metal scissors
* One box of colored pencils
* One box of 24 crayons
* One yellow highlighter
* One set of fine-tip dry erase markers and an eraser
* One 100 page spiral notebook for use as a Writer's Notebook
* Two marble composition books
* Ear buds (in a bag labeled with child's name)
* Two boxes of tissues (for the class)
* One box of baby wipes OR disinfecting wipes (for the class)
* One box of sandwich or snack baggies
